Day One - You can arrive anytime from 3 pm and gain access to your room. This is a great time to check out the local sites or go for a walk on the beach.

 

5 pm - Things will kick off at the cottage with welcome drinks, nibbles and networking. Dinner on the first night is locally renowned Eric’s Pizza at Drove Orchard. Eric’s Pizza specialises in hand stretched Neopolitan pizza made on site from 48hr fermented dough and cooked the traditional way in a wood fired oven.Depending on the weather, this will be served in the dining room or garden.

Day Two - A continental breakfast will be served from 8 am until 9 am and you can eat in the dining room, garden or even take it back to bed.

​

At 9.30am we will head off for a stroll up the nearby hill, to boost our energy for the day.

​

Our first workshop will kick off at 10.30 am with working out where your mainly struggles are with staying organised in your business and masterminding key solutions.

11:45 am - Take a break and this will be followed by co-working.

 

1 pm - Lunch is served.

2 pm - our second session will be based around business organisation and digital declutter. We will cover setting up systems to make life easier and get round to some of those little jobs we keep putting off. This session will help your free up time in your days, weeks and months, while also creating clarity, so you can focus on the things that will move your business forward. There will be a mid-session break at 3.15 pm. 

 

5 pm  - There will be co-working/free time.

6 pm - We will come back together for drinks, nibbles and a sitting room session around big plans for your business and looking to the future.

7.30 pm - Two-course dinner served, which will be weather dependent on location and content.

Day Three - A continental breakfast will be served from 8 am until 9 am and you can eat in the dining room, garden or even take it back to bed. Bedrooms need to be vacated by 9.30 am.

​

9.30 am  - Our final workshop will kick off and will look into goal setting for the second half of the year, breaking down goals and mapping out bigger projects. We will also discuss systems for staying on top of the steps required to achieve your goals.

​

10:30 am - There will be a mid-session break and we will finish at 11:45 am.

We will need to depart the cottage by 12 pm.

Venue

Nestled within the gorgeous coastal village of Holme-next-the-Sea yet tucked away down a quiet lane, character property Cricketer’s Cottage is the type of house that seems to give you a big hug when you arrive. Traditionally furnished and decorated in a quaint charming character cottage manner, a perfect home-from-home. Boasting a lovely, gated cottage garden and a wood burner it is the perfect choice whatever the season. On the ground floor you have a separate kitchen and dining room, then leading to the cosy sitting room with an inglenook and a wood burner to cosy in front of the TV which has Netflix. On the first floor, you have the family bathroom, a double bedroom, and a bedroom with 3/4 double bed, and single. Up the narrow and steep stairs off the large bedroom is the loft room; this has Velux windows with views of the fields of cows behind Cricketer’s cottage. In the pretty cottage garden, is a summer annexe. This houses an L-shaped sofa bed (double) and French doors to the garden and a further bathroom- with a walk-in shower and toilet.

Sitting between Thornham and Hunstanton, the pretty village of Holme-Next-The-Sea has a traditional pub, a stunning nature reserve and beach, perfect for family picnics and birdwatching on the marshes. Cricketer’s Cottage is just 6 miles from Wild Ken Hill which is where Spring Watch is filmed! There is plenty to explore in the local area. Brancaster is just 8 miles away, a pretty, coastal village with great sailing, and boats to the nature reserve. The area is also littered with sites of historical significance including the Holkham, Houghton and Sandringham Estates, Castle Acre and Castle Rising, Peckover House and the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn.

Nature lovers will find all sorts of visitors right there in the garden and surrounding area and RSPB Titchwell Marshes and Snettisham close by too. Wells is also within easy reach- a seaside town with a beautiful beach. At Snettisham Deer Farm you can bottle feed lambs (at the right time of year), see farm animals, and go on a deer safari. Watatunga Wildlife Reserve in Watlington offers a guided safari by a golf buggy! Take a trip to Sandringham House, the magnificent holiday home of the Royal Family since 1861, just a short drive away. Or head further inland, within an hour’s drive, to the Norfolk Broads National Park and the mediaeval city of Norwich, with an abundance of shops, fine dining, and a castle museum to explore. Be warned though, you are sure to leave a piece of your heart at Cricketer’s Cottage and you will be back! Beach 1¼ mile. Pub ¾ mile.

Option 1: On the ground floor, the summer house offers a double bed with its own bathroom that has a shower only for use during the night and early morning. It is also possible to bring a dog, as long as no one else has allergies.

Option 2: On the first floor, there is a double bed available with a shared bathroom that includes both a bath and a shower.

Option 3: On the first floor, there is a double bed & single bed available with a shared bathroom that includes both a bath and a shower.  Please note that this room also provides access to the hosts room on the 2nd floor.

Bookings are secured with a 50% payment and full payment paid no later than 14 days before your arrival date.

Double/Triple occupancy rooms must be booked for both people at the same time.

I also offer a set price for 6 people booking together of £420 per person.

The price includes everything detailed on the itinerary unless otherwise stated.

The cottage sleeps a maximum of 6 guests plus the host.

Members of A Happy Lifestyle Club receive a 5% discount on retreat prices. 

  Transport  

There is space for 3 cars including the hosts at the venue and I aim to organise car sharing so everyone can split the cost of fuel. The nearest main train station is Kings Lynn and you can either arrange your own taxi or some collection times are available for a small charge.

To book simply pop me an email with your preferred sleeping option and dates. I will confirm availability and send you a payment link to confirm your booking. To confirm your spot a non-refundable deposit of £100 will be taken with the balance due 1 month before.
